Abstract:
Provided is a contact power feed device FM ensuring that, even if a brush Br, which is provided in a space between an axis body 1 and a cylinder body 2 disposed concentrically to one another, becomes worn with sliding, contact of the brush with the axis body 1 and with the cylinder body 2 is secured, allowing a current to flow efficiently between the two parties.
The brush Br is constituted by comprising first brush pieces 5, each having an inner wall surface in surface-contact with the outer peripheral surface of the axis body, and second brush pieces 6, each having an outer wall surface in surface-contact with the internal peripheral surface of the cylinder body, and disposing the first brush pieces and the second brush pieces alternately in the circumferential direction in a state in which surface-contacts are established between one another. The respective side wall surfaces of each of the first brush pieces and each of the second brush pieces are formed into a taper shape that is oblique relative to the radial direction. Between second brush pieces that are adjacent to one another, a coil spring 7 is provided for applying a biasing force in a distancing direction.
