Abstract:
The disclosed contact probe is provided with: a conductive first flange (21) that coaxially has a tip section (21a) having a tapered tip shape, a flange section (21c) extending from the base end of the tip section (21a) and having a diameter that is larger than the diameter of the tip section (21a), a boss section (21d) having a diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the flange section (21c), and a base section (21e) having a diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the boss section (21d); a conductive second flange (22) that coaxially has a second tip section having a tapered tip shape and a boss section (22c) having nearly the same diameter as that of the base section (21e); and a coil spring (23) that coaxially connects the first flange (21) to the second flange (22) and that has a loosely wound section (23a) wound at a predetermined pitch and an inner diameter that is at least the diameter of the boss section (21d) of the first flange (21) and a tightly wound section (23b) wound tightly with an inner diameter that is nearly the same as that of the boss section (22c) of the second flange (22).
