Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a contact state confirmation method that can guarantee cleaning quality by confirming a state of contact between a wiping member such as a wiping sheet and an inkjet head (120), an inkjet head cleaning device, and an inkjet recording device (100). A contact state confirmation method according to one aspect of the present invention includes a formation step (S1) of applying a liquid to a nozzle surface (130) of an inkjet head to form a wet pattern comprising a liquid-applied area (120-1) and a non-liquid-applied area (120-2), a transfer step (S2) of bringing a wiping member (201) in contact with the nozzle surface where the wet pattern is formed and transferring the wet pattern to the wiping member by wiping the nozzle surface, and an assessment step (S4) of comparing the wet pattern and the pattern transferred to the wiping member to assess the state of contact between the nozzle surface and the wiping member.
