Abstract:
Provided is a contact with which it is possible to obtain good transmission characteristics with respect to high-frequency signals, even when the profile is lowered. The contact (40) according to the present invention is provided to a first connector (20) to be connected to a second connector (70) in order to electrically connect circuit boards (CB1) and (CB2) to each other, wherein the contact (40) is provided with: a first contact part (45), which comes into contact with a contact (90) provided to the second connector (70) when the first connector (20) and the second connector (70) are connected; a pair of latching parts (42) to be latched to a first insulator (30) provided to the first connector (20); and a curved part (43) for connecting the pair of latching parts (42). The curved part (43) is formed at a position lower than the portion of the first contact part (45) projecting the farthest towards the curved part (43) side.
