Abstract:
A contactless charging device having: a charging coil (12) that charges a mobile device (16); a charging control unit (14) that controls the supply of electricity to this charging coil (12); and a communications unit (15) that communicates with the mobile device (16). The charging control unit (14) has a configuration whereby the charging control unit (14) changes to a low charging frequency if, after the supply of electricity to the charging coil (12) has commenced, the power shortage amount obtained via the communications unit (15) is at least a prescribed value.
