Abstract:
If, when a power-receiving device has been placed at any location, such as on a power-transmitting device, and power is being supplied wirelessly, a power-transmitting coil of the power-transmitting device is in proximity to a part other than a power-receiving coil inside the power-receiving device, in particular, a coil system part having a coil structure, or an antenna part, then there is the potential for the coil system part or the antenna part to generate heat due to a current that has been induced under the influence of the magnetic field from the power-transmitting coil, possibly degrading performance or even causing burnout damage. In order to solve this problem, the present invention is a contactless power-transmitting/receiving device for wirelessly supplying power from a power-transmitting device having a power-transmitting coil to a power-receiving device having a power-receiving coil, wherein: the power-receiving device includes a sensor unit for detecting a state change of a part inside the power-receiving device due to power transmission from the power-transmitting coil, and a system control unit for generating power transmission control information for stopping or varying power transmission from the power-transmitting coil in accordance with state-detection output from the sensor unit; and the power-transmitting device includes a transmission power control unit for controlling transmission power to the power-transmitting coil in accordance with the power transmission control information generated at the system control unit.
