Abstract:
A contactless power transmission system (10) is provided with: a power transmission unit (11) that includes a power transmission side resonance circuit comprising a power transmission coil (L1) for transmitting electrical power in a contactless manner and a transmission side resonance capacitor; a relay unit (12) that includes a relay resonance circuit that undergoes LC resonance with the power transmission side resonance circuit, the relay unit (12) comprising a relay coil (L2) and a relay resonance capacitor; and an electric device (13) that includes a reception coil (L3) for receiving electric power from the transmission coil (L1) through the relay coil (L2) without contacting the relay coil (L2). A flux linkage region (A2) of the relay coil (L2) being greater in area than a flux linkage region (A3) of the reception coil (L3).
