Abstract:
 A contactless pressure switch, wherein, when the pressure of a fluid in a pressure-receiving chamber (28A) is less than a predetermined value, a light beam (LB) from a light-emitting element (16) is incident on a surface (20bs) through a through-hole (20a), and then impinges on an internal peripheral face forming the through-hole (20a), a light-receiving element (22) therefore does not receive the light beam (LB), and a high-level detection pulse signal (So) is therefore sent indicating that the pressure of the fluid in the pressure-receiving chamber (28A) is less than the predetermined value. Meanwhile, when the pressure of the fluid in the pressure-receiving chamber (28A) is equal to or greater than the predetermined value, the light beam (LB) from the light-emitting element (16) is incident on the surface (20bs) through the through-hole (20a), and the reflected light beam (LB) is then emitted toward the light-receiving element (22) through the through-hole (20a), the light-receiving element (22) thereby receives the light beam (LB), and a low-level detection pulse signal (So) indicating that the pressure of the fluid in the pressure-receiving chamber (28A) is equal to or greater than the predetermined value is therefore sent.
