Abstract:
A contactless vehicle charging device (1) according to the present invention includes a portable transmission unit for transmitting an authentication signal, and a receiving unit for receiving the authentication signal transmitted from the transmission unit, and is installed in a vehicle where the receiving unit initiates authentication communication on receiving the authentication signal. A charging coil to which charging power is supplied charges a device to be charged, and there is provided a period during which the supply of the charging power is suspended when the transmission unit and the receiving unit perform the authentication communication.
