Description:
CONTAINER FOR ATTACHMENT TO A PLATE

The invention presented is related to the catering container that can be used within a consumer service. A tea sachet, coffee, sugar, cream, tea additives (for example: lemon, biscuit, candy), additives of coffee and other beverages (ice cubes) can be placed inside. As well as used tea sachet, disposable tea or coffee packages, disposable sugar, cream packaging. The container may be a place for small waste, toothpicks. What is more, it can be used in gastronomy as a place for single packages of mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, salt and other spices, a toothpick, and it can be a place for consumption waste, for example: stones and fruit stalks, fish bones, small bones, etc.; it may also contain small disposable or reusable cutlery - spoons, tea spoons, coffee and dessert spoons, forks, stirrers and straws.

The catering container may be a final package to all kinds of jam, honey, butter, processed cheese, sauces and any kind of culinary products chosen by the consumer.

Until now in cafes or restaurants the tea that is ordered by customers is served in a form of a single bag which is set on the tea saucer with hot water. It is often accompanied by a slice of lemon (with a toothpick) and sugar in a single package and a small sweet as well. In a few restaurants boiling water is served in a teapot and the tea sachet can be chosen by the customer. After brewing the tea, the bag that is removed from the hot water is put aside on a tea saucer or another plate. The same thing happens with the sugar package. In this way, in the surroundings of the tea cup the disorder arises, the tea bag still dripping with tea stains the tea saucer, tea cup, tablecloth and the paper package with a lemon and a toothpick litters the table. It looks unsightly until a waiter reacts and takes this waste away but only if it is placed on a separate plate. What is more, various additives such as mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, salt, sauces, etc. are being served as a single packages. After using them - after squeezing out the contents they often do not have a proper location and litter the area of consumption lying on a plate or a napkin. Similarly, small consumer waste remains on the edge of the plate and they cause disgust.

The invention is a small container that may carry a tea sachet, coffee, sweetener, milk, cream and an appropriate amount of any single catering product. The container is attached to its front, side or bottom element to the outer edge of the plate but it also may stand on its own base. There may be several mounting solutions by appropriate shaping the bottom of the container or its sides, by cutting, using its indentations, by bending or by using its sticky parts. A metal or plastic clip may be used that will grip the edge of a saucer. The catering container has five functions:

a) is to get or serve in it customer's self-selected small product that may be packed in a sachet or by other means, for example: tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener, milk, cream, slice of lemon, candy, as well as spices, mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, sauce, jam, juice, honey, butter, etc.; b) may be a single package of any consumption additive, for example: lemon, cream, coffee milk, spices, mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, sauce, jam, juice, honey, butter, etc. and even ice cubes;

c) can be a place for small consumption waste, for example: tea bag after brewing the tea, disposable packages, toothpicks, squeezed lemon, stones and fruit stalks, fish bones, small bones, etc.;

d) it may also contain small disposable or reusable cutlery - spoons, teaspoons, coffee and dessert spoons, forks, stirrers and straws, etc.;

e) is an innovative information and advertisement carrier that is customer directed by placing anything you want on all external and internal sides of the container in a written, printed, embossed, cut, engraved or glued form (a drawing, a photograph, hologram, 3D picture 5 ARFixer system), etc.; you can place there an advertisement of a product, name of a premise, a description - how to brew a specific kind of tea, what are its values, the information may be a source of knowledge, interesting theme (different maxims) - it is a very efficient method of transferring contents. In the example presented, there is a word„tipac" written in a stylized font and a word "tea". Information can be provided in a form of additionally inserted card or a small leaflet containing information about the premises, the owner, town or region.

The containers can be made of a transparent or freely coloured plastic, paper, foil, aluminium foil, cardboard, foamed polystyrene, metal, glass, porcelain, wood or any other material. They can be extruded, cut and glued, welded as a finished product. What is more, the containers may be precisely cut and marked at the bends template made of plastic, cardboard and they can be folded just before serving. The container may also be completely plain with no inscriptions on its surface. The containers should be of one-use only and thrown away after use together with their contents but they also can be reusable, for example - made of glass, porcelain, metal, etc. There is a wide flexibility in the shape and height of the container, forms of its sides, edges, the most practical would be in the form of a cylinder, oval, elliptical or a prism. It is recommended that the container is wider in its upper part what will allow inserting another container inside and will facilitate both storage and transport. The upper edge and sides may have bends, cuts, holes or handles for small cutlery. The containers may be composed in restaurants into sets containing various kinds of products, tastes, quantities thus facilitating the work of service.

The catering container in its example is composed of the compartment for a product (1) of an oval, elliptical or any other cross-section in which the upper part (2) is wider than the lower one (3), shaping it diagonally with an inclination to the horizontal side at a small angle, by a reduced front side (4) with respect to the back side (5) and the base that is a fastening element (6) with a spacing (7) that creates a narrow slit (8) to be pulled over the edge of a plate (11) when fastening. The container may have inscriptions, for example on its outer surface the word„tipac" (9) and on its inner surface the word (10) ea".

The patent, the catering container, is further illustrated in the examples of drawings and illustrations in the spatial projection in which fig.1 presents the front side of the container, fig.2 presents the lateral side of it, fig.3 presents the view from the top of the container fastened to the plate, fig.4 presents the perspective view from the front side of the container fastened to the saucer with an example of an inscription, fig.5 presents the side view of the container fastened to the saucer, fig.6 presents the spatial image of the container fastened to the plate.
