Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a container capable of ensuring a sealing property between a cap and a container mouth section even when the cap is attached, by capping, to the container mouth section composed of a plurality of mouth sections (stepped sections) having different outer diameters from each other. [Solution] In this container (1), when a cap (2) is capped to a container mouth section (3), the inner wall surface of a cylindrical secondary fitting wall section (32) of the cap (2) and the outer wall surface of the large diameter mouth section (60) of the container mouth section (3) are brought into close contact, and the outer wall surface of a cylindrical primary fitting wall section (19) of the cap (2) and the inner wall surface of the small diameter mouth section (61) of the container mouth section (3) are brought into close contact. Accordingly, a pressing force applied to the outer wall surface of the cylindrical primary fitting wall section (19) of the cap (2) from the inner wall surface of the small diameter mouth section (61) of the container mouth section (3) is increased, and thus a sealing property between the outer wall surface of the cylindrical primary fitting wall section (19) of the cap (2) and the inner wall surface of the small diameter mouth section (61) of the container mouth section (3) can be ensured.
