Provided is a container cap configured so that, even if an impact is applied to an upper cap, the separation between the separation section of an intermediate plug and a body section can be reliably prevented. A container cap 1 is provided with an intermediate plug 2 and an upper cap 3. A holding section 3h for holding a separation section 4 provided to the intermediate plug 2 has an annular protrusion 8 extending downward from the lower surface of the upper end wall 3b of the upper cap 3 and holding around the upper section 4u of the separation section 4 after the separation section 4 is separated from the intermediate plug 2. The intermediate plug 2 has a body section 20 interconnected at an opening OP with the separation section 4 and engaged with a container body 50. The separation section 4 has a plurality of protrusions 4p provided along the outer periphery of the upper section 4u and protruding individually sideways. The protrusions 4p are plate-like sections thin in the direction of an axis AX and have flexibility which enables the protrusions 4p to deform in the direction of the axis AX.
