Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a container cluster management method and apparatus, which can reduce the complexity of container cluster management at a user level, thus improving the user experience. The method comprises: a container cluster management apparatus acquiring at least one declarative descriptor, wherein the declarative descriptor is used for declaratively describing characteristics of a target container cluster, which is expected by a user; acquiring a container cluster resource descriptor corresponding to the at least one declarative descriptor, wherein the container cluster resource descriptor is used for indicating a resource configuration corresponding to the target container cluster; generating a container cluster resource description list corresponding to the container cluster resource descriptor, wherein the container cluster resource description list is used for indicating resources which are required by the target container cluster; and then sending the container cluster resource description list to a basic container resource management apparatus of the target container cluster, wherein the basic container resource management apparatus is used for managing and scheduling container cluster resources.
