Title:
CONTAINER FOR GLASS SUBSTRATES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/092920
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a glass substrate container which is capable of suitably preventing application of shock to the glass substrates even if subjected to impact from outside, such as by being accidentally dropped, and which is capable of securely fixing the glass substrates within the accommodating section thereof, without positional displacement. A container main body (1) is made of a foamed resin moulding having a bottom (3) and side walls (4) that surround this bottom (3); an accommodating section (2) for accommodating glass substrates (X) in a horizontal fashion is formed within this container main body (1). Reinforcement members (6, 7) having a buffering action in one of the directions of the glass substrates (X) and at least one other direction that is orthogonal to this direction are arranged at the corners (2a) of the accommodating section (2) in correspondence to the corners of the glass substrates (X).
