Title:
CONTAINER FOR HOLDING THREAD-FORM OBJECT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/092925
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an inexpensive, easy-to-manufacture container for holding a thread-form object while retaining the figure-eight shape thereof. The container comprises a box-like body (14) formed by bending a single piece of sheet material (34), the box-like body having: two principal walls (2, 4) spaced from and arranged parallel to each other; and side walls (6, 8) and end walls (10, 12) that substantially connect the circumferential edges of the two principal walls. The principal walls (2, 4) have respective hook sections (16, 18) that project from the inner surfaces of the respective principal walls toward the inside of the box-like body (14) and that are separated from the end wall (10). A folded object is prepared by winding a thread-form object in a figure-eight pattern and folding the thread-form object into two at the intersection of the two loops of the figure eight, and the sections of the folded object on the opposite side from the intersection of the two loops are hooked onto the respective hook sections (16, 18) with the intersection side located on the side of the end wall (10).
