Abstract:
A microwave oven container (400) may include a body (410) for containing a liquid (415), an agitator (420) projecting through a bottom wall (402) of the body (410) to agitate the liquid (415) contained in the body (410), where the agitator (420) includes a first end (422) located in the body (410) and a second end (424) located exterior to the body (410). The second end (424) of the agitator (420) is able to couple with a turntable drive (435) of a microwave oven (10) to power movement of the agitator (420) in response to rotation of the turntable drive (435). The container (400) may also include a cage (425) located within the body (410) that substantially surrounds the first end (422) of the agitator (420) and includes a plurality of openings(430) to allow the liquid (415) contained in the body (410) to pass through the cage (425).
