Abstract:
Disclosed is a container inspecting apparatus which can detect even a small seal failure and a pin hole, does not limit products to be inspected, and can detect a sealing failure with a high accuracy.
The container inspecting apparatus (1) inspects expansion of a film-like cover of a container having the opening thereof hermetically sealed with the film-like cover. The container inspecting apparatus is provided with: a height measuring means (30), which measures the heights of a plurality of measuring areas on the film-like cover; and a data managing means (40), which calculates a predetermined value relating to the heights, on the basis of the results of the measurement on the measuring areas, and determines presence/absence of a failure in the container, by determining whether the predetermined value is within a predetermined range or not.
