Abstract:
The present invention is a container insulator (13) attached to an outer circumferential surface (11a) of a container. The container insulator (13) is formed of a single sheet material (13a) having multiple slits (31) that are arranged in a staggered manner and are opened when the sheet material is stretched. The sheet material (13a) has a substantially rectangular shape that is long in the horizontal direction, and the slits (31) extend in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction, which is the stretching direction. Furthermore, a sticky affixing section (42) having an adhesive is formed at one end, in the stretching direction, of the back of the sheet material (13a) and is fixed to the outer circumferential surface (11a) of a cup 11. This container insulator can be used with a wider range of containers while having a small size, contributing to a reduction in material and the like, which is advantageous.
