Abstract:
Provided is a container manufacturing method wherein, when a container is manufactured by performing biaxial stretch blow molding using a prepreg that was formed by direct blow molding, it is possible to suppress rupturing in a location that corresponds to a seal section of the preform. The present invention provides a container manufacturing method comprising a step in which a preform is subjected to biaxial stretch blow molding to manufacture a container body, wherein the preform comprises a direct blow molded body that was formed by direct blow molding using a tubular parison in a molten state, and the direct blow molded body is provided with a protruding seal section, in which a seal section that was formed by inner surfaces of the tubular parison welding together protrudes from a body section of the direct blow molded body.
