Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a container in which a line pattern that can be recognized in both a visual and a tactile manner is formed without increasing the number of processing steps, etc.; and a method for producing the container. [Solution] A container 1 that accommodates contents and comprises a barrel part 2 having a linear recess part 7 in which the outer surface is pressed in, wherein: the barrel part 2 at least partially has a three-layer structure in which an intermediate layer formed from a metal foil is sandwiched between an inner layer formed from a viscoelastic body and a transparent outer layer formed from a viscoelastic body; and in the recess part 7, the outer layer is pressed from the outer surface, whereby there is formed a diffuse reflection part in which the color difference ΔE*
ab with respect to locations on the outer surface where the outer layer has not been pressed is equal to or greater than a prescribed value.
