Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a container for packaging that has a steam release mechanism for preventing rupture when the pressure within the container rises when the container is heated in a microwave oven, that can prevent the leakage from the steam release mechanism of nitrogen or other gas trapped inside the container when the container is not being heated, and that enables long term- preservation of food stored within the container. [Solution] A container for packaging comprises a bag body constituted by a synthetic resin film. The film comprises an inner-layer film constituted by the inner surface side of the bag body and having heat-sealing properties, and an outer-layer film constituted by the outer surface side of the bag body. A slit is formed in the outer-layer film. The slit opens due to a rise in the pressure within the container when the container is heated; the inner-layer film expands with the opening of the slit thereby generating pin holes and releasing steam. The melting point of the inner-layer film is lower than the melting point of the outer-layer film. When the slit of the outer-layer film is formed, the slit is formed so that it reaches the inner-layer film. The slit formed in the inner-layer film is closed by heating one region of the stacked film that includes the slit, to a temperature higher than the melting point of the inner-layer film and lower than the melting point of the outer-layer film. The outer-layer film comprises a gas barrier film having a gas barrier coating layer on the surface of a base film.
