Title:
CONTAINER FOR SPERM CRYOPRESERVATION USE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, SPERM CRYOPRESERVATION METHOD, AND IN VITRO FERTILIZATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/007006
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are: a container for sperm cryopreservation use, which makes it possible to perform the cryopreservation and collection of sperms effectively even when the number of the sperms is small; a method for producing the container; a sperm cryopreservation method; and an in vitro fertilization method. The sperm cryopreservation method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps (a) to (f): (a) providing a container (10) which is provided with a gel shell (11) containing a glycosaminoglycan chain and/or a cellulose chain and a liquid core (12) coated on the gel shell (11); (b) injecting sperms (S) into the liquid core in the container to obtain the container having the sperms contained therein; (c) cryopreserving the container having the sperms contained therein; (d) thawing the cryopreserved container; (e) treating the gel shell in the thawed container with an enzyme capable of decomposing the glycosaminoglycan chain and/or an enzyme capable of decomposing the cellulose chain to decompose at least a part of the gel shell; and (f) collecting the sperms from the container after the decomposition of the gel shell.
