Abstract:
The present invention provides a container which is characterized by being formed of a material that is mainly composed of titanium, and which is lightweight even if large-sized and has impact resistance and pressure resistance. This container is capable of storing and transporting a liquid crystal material with the specific resistance and the voltage holding ratio thereof being at high levels, and is also capable of maintaining the liquid crystal material in such a state for a long period of time, thereby providing the liquid crystal material with long-term stability in terms of quality. The present invention also provides a method for storing and transporting a liquid crystal material with use of this container. The present invention is useful for storage and transportation of a liquid crystal material that is used for the production of a TFT-driven liquid crystal display element.
