Abstract:
In a container-transporting conveyor with a tensioner for adjusting tension of a chain, elongation of the chain, particularly sag occurring on the send-out side of a driving sprocket, is efficiently removed. A tensioner (air cylinder (18)) for adjusting tension on an endless chain (15) is connected to a drive shaft (11). Elongation of the chain can be absorbed by relatively small tension by moving the drive shaft by the tensioner farther away from or closer to a driven shaft (12), and thus sag occurring on the send-out side of a driving sprocket (13) is removed. Further, a container-transporting conveyor (2) where a tensioner is connected to a drive shaft driven by a servomotor located directly above the drive shaft can cope with a latest high-speed liquid-filling machine with a long machine length.
