Description:
A CONTAINER WITH A COVER AND DRAWERS AND WITH A SIMULTANEOUS MOVEMENT MECHANISM OF THE COVER AND THE DRAWERS

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the technical sector concerning containers with a cover and drawers.

In particular, the present invention relates to a container with a cover and drawers and with a contemporaneous movement mechanism of the cover and the drawers.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

Containers are known which comprise a box-shaped body which includes an upper containing compartment, a cover and a plurality of drawers; these types of containers are used for containing various articles such as, for example, jewels, make-up, stationery material, tea bags, herbal drink bags and/or coffee pods.

In a case where a user needs to store one or more articles in the container, or needs to collect a specific article from the same container, or has to view the contents of the various parts of the container, he or she is forced to open the cover and then, in succession, each single drawer. The user, therefore, has to perform several opening operations and, thereafter, closing operations of both the cover and of each single drawer previously opened.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The aim of the present invention consists in obviating the above-mentioned drawbacks.

The above-mentioned aim has been obtained with a container with a cover and drawers and with a contemporaneous movement mechanism of the cover and the drawers, according to independent claim 1 and according to dependent claim 4.

The rotatable coupling of the first lever (L1) to the first support (81) advantageously to abut, following the rotation thereof, the first drawer (11), causing the at least partial exit thereof through the second opening (20), and the rotatable coupling of the second lever (L2) to the first support element to abut, following the rotation thereof, the second drawer (12), causing the at least partial exit thereof via the third opening (30), together with the position of the pusher (9) and the connection of the command means (90) to the first lever (L1), to the second lever (L2) and to the pusher (9), enable contemporaneously moving the cover (C) towards the open position (P2) and the first drawer (11) and the second drawer (12) towards the outside of the box-shaped body (S): in fact, in order to obtain the contemporaneous opening of the cover (C), of the first drawer (11) and of the second drawer (12) it is sufficient to act on the command means (90) so as to activate the rotation of the first lever (L1), the rotation of the second lever (L2), and to move the pusher (9) so as to push the cover (C) towards the open position (P2).

Consequently it is possible also to contemporaneously move the closing of the cover (C), of the first drawer (11) and of the second drawer (12). In fact, following the movement of the cover (C) in order to be repositioned in the closed position (P1) to close the first opening (10), and of the command means (90), in order to enable both the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) to rotate towards the centre of the container, the second elastic means (92) enable contemporanously moving the first drawer (11), so as to advance into the second opening (20) towards the inside of the container and the second drawer (12) so as to advance into the second opening (20) towards the inside of the container.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With reference to the appended tables of drawings, reference numeral (100) generically denotes a container with a cover and drawers and with a contemporaneous movement mechanism of the cover and the drawers, comprising a box-shaped body (S) which in turn comprises: a bottom (F); a first wall (1); a second wall (2) adjacent to the first wall (1); a third wall (3) adjacent to the first wall (1) and opposite the second wall (2); a fourth wall (4) opposite the first wall (1); a first opening (10) defined by the upper edges of the first wall (1), of the second wall (2), of the third wall (3) and the fourth wall (4); a containing compartment (V) which can communicate with the outside environment via the first opening (10); a second opening (20) defined by a through-hole made in the second wall (2); a third opening (30) defined by a through-hole made in the third wall (3) (see figures 2, 3-6).

Further, the container comprises: a cover (C) which is rotatably coupled to the edge of the box-shaped body (S) and which is movable between a closed position (P1), in which it closes the first opening (10), and an open position (P2), in which it makes the containing compartment (V) accessible; a first drawer (11) which is movable via the second opening (20) between the containing compartment (V) and the bottom (F); a second drawer (12) which is movable via the third opening (30) between the containing compartment (V) and the bottom (F); a first support (81) which is inside the box-shaped body (S) and which is solidly constrained to the box-shaped body (S).

In detail, with reference to figure 2, the cover (C) is rotatably coupled with the edge of the first wall (1).

Further, the container comprises: a first lever (L1) which is rotatably borne by the first support (81) in such a way that a rotation thereof towards the second wall (2) can determine the abutment with the first drawer (11) causing the at least partial exit thereof via the second opening (20); a second lever (L2) which is rotatably borne by the first support (81) in such a way that a rotation thereof towards the third wall (3) can determine the abutment with the second drawer (12) causing the at least partial exit thereof via the third opening (30).

In detail, the containing compartment (V) can comprise: a plane (not illustrated) which comprises dividers which define compartments, with the plane connected to appendages (D) in turn fixed perpendicularly to the first wall (1), to the second wall (2), to the third wall (3), to the fourth wall (4), and inferiorly supported by a first rod-shaped support (N1) fixed to the first support (81).

In detail, with particular reference to figures 1, 1A, 2, 2A, 4, both the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) can be understood to be a pair of arms arranged at an angle to one another.

The first lever (L1) is rotatably connected at a first hinge point (A1) to the first support (81) and with the second lever (L2) is rotatably connected at a second hinge point (A2) to the first support (81) so as to be flanked and to rotate with respect to one another with respect to a plane (XY) parallel to the bottom (F). Alternatively, both the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) can be formed respectively by a single arm, so that the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) are connected to one another at a single hinge point (not illustrated).

The first support (81) is preferably fixed to the first wall (1) and to the fourth wall (4) and is arranged centrally between the second wall (2) and the third wall (3) (see figures 3, 4) or can be arranged decentred between the second wall (2) and the third wall (3) (not illustrated).

The first drawer (11) and the second drawer (12) can be of equal dimensions and depth (see figure 2) and are arranged facing, or can have dimensions and/or depth that are different (not illustrated) and/or can be arranged on opposite sides, staggered one relative to the other with respect to the plane (XY) (not illustrated).

Further, the container comprises: a pusher (9) which is borne by the fourth wall (4) and which is arranged to push the cover (C) towards the open position (P2); command means (90) which are connected to the first lever (L1), to the second lever (L2) and to the pusher (9) in order to contemporaneously push the cover (C) towards the open position (P2), the first drawer (11) towards the outside and the second drawer (12) towards the outside environment (see figures 1, 1A, 2, 2A, 9, 9A, 10, 10A). In detail, the pusher (9) is a rod-shaped element positioned internally of a housing (900) made in the fourth wall (4) and vertically movable internally thereof, in such a way that the first terminal part (9a) of the pusher (9) is connected to the command means (90) and a second terminal part (9b) is free to exit from the housing (900) out of the box-shaped body (S).

The command means (90) preferably comprise: a first end (E1) of the first lever (L1) projecting from a passage (G) defined by a through-hole made in the fourth wall (4); a first end (E2) of the second lever (L2) projecting from the passage (G); a conical element (99) which is solidly constrained to the first terminal part (9a) of the pusher (9) and which is arranged between the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) so that with the rotation of the first lever (L1) towards the second wall (2) and the rotation of the second lever (L2) towards the third wall (3) the pusher (9) can be moved to push the cover (C) towards the open position (P2); first elastic means (91) connected to the conical element (99) and to the pusher (9) so that with the rotation of the first lever (L1) and the rotation of the second lever (L2) towards one another the first elastic means (91) push the conical element (99) to wedge between the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) to move the pusher (9) so that it retracts.

With reference to figures 3, 4, 7, 8, the box-shaped body internally comprises: first guides (M1) fixed internally of the first wall (1) and first guides (M1) fixed internally to the fourth wall (4) and, with reference to figure 2, second guides (M2) fixed to the respective flanks of the first drawer (11) and second guides (M2) fixed to the respective flanks of the second drawer (12); the first guides (M1) engage with the second guides (M2) to guide and enable both the advancement of the first drawer (11) into the second opening (20) and the advancement of the second drawer (12) into the third opening (30).

The opening of the first drawer (11) and of the second drawer (12) and of the cover (C) is advantageously simple and rapid as it will be sufficient to near the first end (E1) of the first lever (L1) and the first end (E2) of the second lever (L2) so that there is: a rotation of the first lever (L1) with respect to the first hinge point (A1) towards the second wall (2) so as to abut the second drawer (12) and cause advancement thereof and the partial exit thereof via the second opening (20); the rotation of the second lever (L2) with respect to the second hinge point (A2) towards the third wall (3) to abut the third drawer (13) and cause advancement thereof and the partial exit thereof via the third opening (30); the sliding of the lateral surface (99a) of the conical element (99) between the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) with the movement of the conical element (99) upwards such that the pusher (9) is raised upwards and the second terminal part (9b) of the pusher (9) abuts the edge of the cover (C) to push the edge to cause the opening (see figure 2, 2A).

With the rotation of the first lever (L1) and of the second lever (L2), the first elastic means (91) are advantageously compressed between the base (99b) surface of the conical element (99) and the delineated edge of the through- hole which defines the passage (G) in the fourth wall (4), so that, following the moving away of the first end (E1) of the first lever (L1) from the first end (E2) of the second lever (L2) and to the arrangement of the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) to be flanking (see figure 1, 1A) the first elastic means (91) push the conical element (99) to wedge between the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) drawing the pusher (9) downwards.

The command means (90) preferably comprise: a second support (82) which is inside the box-shaped body (S) and which is solidly constrained to the fourth wall (4); a grip (7) projecting from the passage (G) defined by a through-hole made in the fourth wall (4); an activating element (70), connected to the grip (7), comprising a recess (71), in which the first terminal part (9a) of the pusher (9) is positioned, and a tapered portion (72), tapered in a downwards direction, with the activating element (70) being rotatably coupled to the second support (82) and commanded in such a way that the downwards rotation thereof can: cause the tapered portion (72) to intercept both the first lever (L1), causing the rotation towards the second wall (2), and the second lever (L2), causing the rotation towards the third wall (3); and can move the pusher (9) into the recess (71) to push the cover (C) towards the open position (P2) (see figures 9, 9A, 10 and 10A).

The opening of the first drawer (11) and of the second drawer (12) and of the cover (C) is advantageously simple and rapid.

In detail it will be sufficient to grasp the grip (7), raising it upwards so that the activating element (70) rotates downwards. The tapered portion (72) thus is interposed between the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) causing the contemporaneous rotation of the first lever (L1) to abut the first drawer (11) so as to cause an at least partial exit thereof from the second opening (20), and of the second lever (L2) to abut the second drawer (12) to cause it to exit at least partly from the third opening (30) (see figure 10).

Further, with the raising of the grip (7) upwards the first terminal part (9a) of the pusher (9) slides into the recess (71) so that the pusher (9) is moved upwards (see figure 10A) so that the second terminal part (9b) exits from the box-shaped body (S) to abut and push the cover (C) towards the open position (P2).

With the lowering of the grip (7) the terminal part of the pusher (9) slides into the recess (71) and becomes positioned at the lowest point of the recess (71) (see figure 9A) so that the pusher (9) returns into the box-shaped body (S) by force of gravity.

The container preferably comprises: second elastic means (92) which connect the first drawer (11) and the second drawer (12) so as to be stretched with the movement towards the outside of the first drawer (11) from the second opening (20) and of the second drawer (12) from the third opening (30) and such as to contemporaneously move the first drawer (11) and the second drawer (12) towards the inside of the boxshaped body (S), following the movement of the command means (90) and of the cover (C) towards the closed position (P1).

The second elastic means (92) are elastic strips, or springs, the length of which is proportional to the depth of the first drawer (11) and of the second drawer (12).

The third elastic means (93) and the fourth elastic means (94) are stretched following the movement towards the outside of the box-shaped body (S) of the third drawer (13) and of the fourth drawer (14).

The third elastic means (93) and the fourth elastic means (94) following the movement towards the closed position (P1) of the cover (C) and the rotation of the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) towards one another with the consequent movement of the first rod (61), of the second rod (62) and of the bar (60), as such as to move the third drawer (13) through the third opening (30) towards the inside of the container and the fourth drawer (14) through the fourth opening (40) towards the inside of the box-shaped body (S) to return the third drawer (13) and the fourth drawer (14) to closure.

In detail, with reference to figures 5 and 6, the fifth elastic means (95) are stretched following the at least partial opening of each fifth drawer (15); following the rotation of the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) towards one another and the consequent movement of the third rod (63) and of the fourth rod (64), the fifth elastic means (95) are such as to move each fifth drawer (15) through the corresponding fifth opening (50) towards the inside of the box-shaped body (S) to return each fifth drawer (15) to closure.

It is further possible to comprise further drawers arranged above the first drawer (11) and/or the second drawer (12) and beneath the fifth drawer (15) so as to exit from the corresponding openings defined by through-holes made in the second wall (2) and/or in the third wall (3) and be moved towards the outside environment: either by the third rod (63) or by the fourth rod (63); or by the first abutting element (65) or by the second abutting element (66), appropriately arranged on the third rod (63) or on the fourth rod (63), with respect to the position of the drawer to be moved. It is further possible to include two first drawers (11) flanked to one another and two second drawers (12), also flanked to one another, the movement of which can be obtained both by a suitable conformation of the first lever (L1) and the second lever (L2) and by a specific connection and orientation of the first abutting element (65) or the second abutting element (66). It is understood that the above has been described by way of non-limiting example and that any modifications are all considered to fall within the protective scope, as claimed in the following.
