Abstract:
The invention relates to an impact- and/or topple-resistant recipient having an interior glass container, which overcomes all the defects known from the art, preferably a drinks bottle or a beaker for daily use. Said recipient comprises an interior glass container (1) which is elastically mounted relative to an outer container (2) protectively enveloping it in a shock-absorbing fashion. The elastic material of the intermediate space is completely or partially omitted in the center region and the outer container (2) is designed such as to allow viewing through its wall. These two structural features allow the kind of content (30) of the glass container (1) and the state and filling level thereof to be checked, and breakage of the glass to be recognized from the outside. In order to guarantee an all-around impact- and/or topple resistance, the outer container (2) forms a force-locked and dimensionally stable outer protective sheath around the glass container (1) together with the cover (13). The recipient is invariably closed by a cover which consists of a single closure. Various embodiments of the recipient relate to suitable covers.
