Abstract:
A contamination diffusion preventing structure in a contaminated area capable of effectively preventing harmful substances from diffusing to an uncontaminated soil side at a low cost with a rather simple structure and without requiring large-scale equipment, wherein wall bodies (1) for prevention of contamination diffusion are buried in the ground to divide contaminated soil (2) from uncontaminated soil (3), and the wall bodies (1) are formed of a wall material having water permeability and carrying rare-earth compounds.
