Abstract:
This content data reception device is provided with a reception unit, a buffer, and a control unit. When a sequence included in content data received by the reception unit is discontinuous, the control unit stores the content data in the buffer, issues a retransmission request to the transmission side, stores the content data received by the reception unit in the buffer until content data having a continuous sequence is received, and, when content data having a continuous sequence has been received, outputs the content data to a subsequent stage such that the sequence is continuous.
