Abstract:
Provided is a content determination assistance system capable of assisting in efficiently identifying a mixture that is highly likely to be included in a sample. This content determination assistance system has recorded therein characteristic mass spectrum data of respective known compounds. In addition, the system extracts, from the mass spectrum data of a current sample, a mass spectrum corresponding to said current sample, and detects a high intensity mass spectrum from the corresponding current-sample mass spectrum. Furthermore, the system outputs the degree of matching between the mass spectrum of a known compound subject to determination and the mass spectrum of the current sample, by using the characteristic mass spectrum and the high-intensity mass spectrum.
