Abstract:
Provided is a content distribution device comprising: a first communication part for transmitting either control data or content data to a first content receiving device using a given wireless communication channel within a first frequency band; a second communication part for transmitting the content data to a second content receiving device; and a control part for, if it is determined that the content data cannot be transmitted by the second communication part to the second content receiving device, using the first communication part and the already established wireless communication channel to commence transmission of the content data to the second content receiving device while maintaining the transmission of the control data or the content data to the first content receiving device.
