Abstract:
Provided is a content playback apparatus, wherein operation thereof can be done more comfortably. The content playback apparatus (100) comprises a playback unit (510) for playing video content; and a control unit (520) for inputting operations related to the playing of the video content, and controlling the playing of the video content according to the operation inputted. The control unit (520) comprises: a range determining unit (521) for determining, under the condition that a prescribed operation has been executed, a prescribed time range using the timing that the operation was executed as a reference point; and an image determining unit (522) for determining, from within the determined time range, an image that is not blurred, and wherein the eyes and mouths of characters therein are not half-open, as a representative image of the video content.
