Abstract:
A content playback device in which the content playback device, which is a parent device, distributes content data to other content playback devices, which are child devices, the content playback device and the other content playback devices collaborating to form a linked state for playing back content, wherein the content playback device comprises an identification information acquisition means for acquiring device identification information of the other content playback devices, and a command transmission means for transmitting, to the other content playback devices using the device identification information, a state control command for switching the state of the other content playback devices from a non-active state to an active state. The command transmission means transmits the state control command to the other content playback devices when the state of the content playback device switches from a non-active state to an active state.
