Abstract:
A content viewing system (600) includes a plurality of terminal apparatuses (610,…) and a content distribution system (620). The content distribution system converts the format of acquired content data from a first format to a second format. The content distribution system, if receiving a transmission request from a terminal apparatus, transmits, to the terminal apparatus, content data having the first format or second format. Further, the content distribution system acquires stop position information showing the position where the terminal apparatus stopped playing content. In cases when, after a certain terminal apparatus has stopped playing content, the content distribution system receives a transmission request from another terminal apparatus, the content distribution system transmits content data from the position shown by the stop position information to that terminal apparatus.
