Abstract:

Provided is a contention window management method applied to an unlicensed frequency band. The method comprises: a sending device sending one or more data packets to one or more receiving devices in one or more reference time units, with the one or more data packets occupying a first bandwidth; the sending device receiving a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) for the one or more data packets from the one or more receiving devices; and the sending device determining the size of a contention window (CW) of a second bandwidth with reference to the HARQ for the one or more data packets. By means of the method provided in the present application, an update of a contention window (CW) can be determined based on HARQ feedback of a data packet, thereby improving the communication efficiency.
