Abstract:
A molten steel flow control system for controlling flow of molten steel inside a mold according to an embodiment may comprise: an electromagnetic generator for controlling the flow of the molten steel by applying an electromagnetic force to the molten steel inside the mold; a learning unit for generating and managing a prediction model for predicting optimal control information of the electromagnetic generator, through learning of defect information of coils and a plurality pieces of operational data collected during the past continuous casting operation; a prediction unit for predicting optimal control information of the electromagnetic generator by inputting a plurality pieces of operational data related to the current continuous casting operation into the prediction model; and an electromagnetic controller for controlling electromagnetic force generation of the electromagnetic generator on the basis of the optimal control information.
