Abstract:
A continuous casting nozzle for molten steel, characterized in that an inner hole surface layer in contact with molten steel of the continuous casting nozzle comprises a composition consisting of (a) 30 to 84 wt.% of agalmatolite, (b) 15 to 60 wt.% of an aggregate consisting of Al¿2?O¿3? or an aggregate mainly consisting of Al¿2?O¿3? and having a melting point of 1800 °C or higher and (c) 1 to 10 wt.% of silicon carbide.
