Abstract:
A continuous fastener element (10) is constructed by forming a monofilament (37), which consists of a thermoplastic synthetic resin, into a coil shape or a zigzag shape and is provided with engaging heads (11), upper and lower legs (12, 13) laterally extended from the engaging heads (11), and connecting sections (14) for each interconnecting two longitudinally adjacent legs (12, 13). The surfaces of the engaging heads (11), the legs (12, 13), and the connecting sections (14) are formed as rough surfaces having recesses. Also, the surfaces of the tops of the engaging heads (11) of the continuous fastener element (10) have an arithmetic average roughness Ra less than that of the outer peripheral surface of the legs (12, 13).
