Abstract:
A continuous metal strip casting plant on which is mounted, at the casting location, a mobile ingot mould comprising two cylindrical metallic casting rolls (8) in addition to other components, amongst which there are a tundish (3) and/or under tundish (6) and/or an unloader (7) and/or lateral plates, respective preheating stations (18, 18', 21, 21') located in positions separated from the position of casting, and rotating arms (11, 11', 12, 12') located on a turret (10, 10') itself also placed on the casting plane (16) to transfer the components from the casting line to their preheating stations.
