Title:
CONTINUOUS RESIN RECOVERY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF RECOVERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/009653
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A continuous method of resin recovery for recovering a highly purified resin suitable for optical use from which foreign matter and volatile contents have been removed to a high degree. The continuous method of resin recovery comprises the steps of heating a resin solution in a heating pipe at a temperature not lower than the boiling point of solvent; introducing the resin solution heated at a temperature not lower than the boiling point of solvent into a preliminary drying chamber maintained at reduced pressure; separating the resin from solvent vapor in the preliminary drying chamber; melting the separated resin; introducing the molten resin into a precision drying chamber maintained at reduced pressure; and causing the molten resin to pass through a perforated plate in the precision drying chamber.
