Abstract:
A continuous screw driving and tightening machine by which a plurality of types of screws of different lengths are driven and tightened, whose screw tightening position is finely adjustable, and which is used correspondingly to the position where a belt type member of a screw rope is secured. This machine (3) comprises a screw driving bit (7) detachably coupled thereto, a screw feed mechanism body (6) provided on the front of the machine (3) and slidable longitudinally, and an adjusting mechanism (23) for adjusting the position of the bit (7) relative to the machine (3). The screw feed mechanism body (6) includes a screw feed mechanism (24) for feeding screws (S) attached to a screw rope (9) one by one to the position where a screw is driven by the bit (7) interlockingly with the driving action of the bit (7) and a plurality of guide passages (30) for the screw rope (9) so that a plurality of screw ropes (9) can be exchangeably loaded. A front block (12) having a projecting contact surface is provided slidably in the longitudinal direction with respect to the screw feed mechanism body (6).
