Abstract:
When a screw is fastened, the distal end of a screw rope is lifted up. Consequently, even though the screw has a planar seat surface, the screw can be fastened under an appropriate condition without clamping the screw rope separated from the screw between it and the seat surface of the head of the screw. A screw rope guide (26) equipped with a guide path (24) at one of the ends thereof and with a shaft hole (25) at the other end is turnably fitted to a screw feed mechanism main body (6) capable of sliding back and forth, and a flexible member (28) for biasing down the portion of screw rope guide (26) on the side of the guide path (24) towards the screw feed mechanism main body (6) is disposed. A push portion (32) is provided to a fastener main body (3). The push portion (32) contacts a lower portion (26a) of the screw rope guide (26) near the shaft hole (25), and the portion of the screw rope guide (26) on the side of the guide path (24) is pushed up and the screw rope (11) inserted into the guide path (24) is pushed up forward in the feeding direction in the interlocking arrangement with the fastening operation of the screw (7).
