Abstract:
A bucket elevator type continuous unloader (1) comprising a bucket elevator (9) is provided with: a body unit (2) which can be installed on the upper face of a wharf (101); a boom (7) which is provided in a swingable manner to the body unit (2) and to which the bucket elevator (9) is provided; brakes (75) which apply braking force to the swing of the boom (7); and a control unit (80) which controls the operation of the brakes (75) by switching between a first mode in which only brakes (75a, 75c, 75d, 75f) out of the brakes (75) are operated and a second mode in which all the brakes (75a-75f) of the brakes (75) are operated.
