Abstract:
A continuous variable-pressure sampling apparatus for a spiral mass spectrometer, comprising a cylindrical outer shell (6) and a mass spectrometry system (17), an inner cylinder (11) provided with a spiral line-type groove (12) on the outer surface being slidably installed inside the outer shell (6), the cross-sectional area of the spiral line-type groove (12) gradually increasing from a gas inlet end to a gas outlet end thereof, the outer surface of the inner cylinder (11) fitting tightly to the inner side wall of the cylindrical outer shell (6), an annular gas intake chamber (9) being disposed about the circumference of the middle of the inner side wall of the cylindrical outer shell (6), a gas outlet passage (13) running through the cylinder wall of the inner cylinder (11) near the mass spectrometry system (17) end being disposed at the gas outlet end of the spiral line-type groove (12), passing through the side wall of the outer shell (6) via a connecting pipeline (22) to connect to the mass spectrometry system (17), and a motor (1) driving the inner cylinder (11) to slide in the outer shell (6) by means of a screw mechanism, changing the gas path length and cross-sectional area of the spiral line-type groove (12), and performing high-precision sampling and analysis of a wide range of variable-pressure gases.
