Abstract:
In the present invention, a transmission controller determines whether the following is being carried out: low return speed change for changing, when a vehicle is decelerated, the transmission gear ratio of a continuously variable transmission to the lowest ratio. The transmission controller, on the basis of the deceleration degree of the vehicle and the transmission gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission, calculates a primary pressure actual measurement lower limit value at which a belt actually begins to slide, and sets the lower limit value of the target value of primary pressure in low return speed change to the primary pressure actual measurement lower limit value.
