Abstract:
A relative rotation drive mechanism for a continuously variable transmission, comprising: a first cam groove (15a) provided along the axial direction of a rotating shaft (1) and provided in a first rotating section (15) that rotates integrally with a fixed disk (10); a second cam groove (16a) provided along the axial direction and intersecting the first cam groove (15a) and provided in a second rotating section (16) that rotates integrally with a movable disk (19); a cam roller (90) arranged at a second intersection site (CP2) at which the first cam groove (15a) and the second cam groove (16a) intersect, and having one end section (90a) thereof protruding in the radial direction; an axial direction force transmission member (35) that has provided therein a groove section (35c) housing the one end section (90a) of the cam roller (90), and transmits axial direction force to the cam roller (90); and an axial direction travel mechanism (31) that causes the axial direction transmission member (35) to move in the axial direction.
