Title:
CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/013060
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
To improve a belt transmission efficiency by increasing the jutting biasing force of an inner pin during the rotation of a pulley. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) having a chain belt (3) looped over a primary pulley (1) and a secondary pulley (2) between the opposed sheave surfaces (11, 21) thereof, wherein the chain belt (3) has a pair of inner pins (33, 33), and a first coil spring (35) and a second coil spring (36). The pair of inner pins (33, 33) have a pin end portion (33a) engaged with radial recessed grooves (13, 23) that are formed on the sheave surfaces (11, 21). Both coil springs (35, 36) impart a jutting biasing force to the pair of inner pins (33, 33). Further, elevation angles (θ, θ) tilted in a pulley outer diameter direction relative to a locker pin axis (L) that is parallel to a pulley axis were set to a locker pin groove hole (34) in which the pair of inner pins (33, 33) were disposed.
