Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a continuously variable transmission mechanism having a novel configuration. This continuously variable transmission comprises: a center shaft (18); a cam arm (12) provided about the center shaft (18) and having a cam protrusion; a drive arm (4) provided so as to be centered about the center shaft (18) and having a one-way mechanism; an input-side flange (8) provided with a ring gear; a swing arm (1) provided to the input-side flange (8); a push arm (2) that is provided to the input-side flange (8) and that moves in conjunction with the movement of the swing arm (1); a planet gear (7) that meshes with the ring gear; and a sun gear (10) that meshes with the planet gear (7). The continuously variable transmission is characterized in that the cam arm (12) is retractable/extendable, and continuously variable transmission driving is performed from output that is one-to-one with the input of the input-side flange (8).
