Abstract:
[Objective] To provide a control apparatus for an electric-powered power steering apparatus, wherein ripple precision in torque, speed, and other properties is improved, abnormal noise is not made, and strangeness is not felt upon steering, by making the properties of each of the phases of a motor and the control apparatus cancel each other, and converting the properties to desired properties. [Solution] A control apparatus for an electric-powered power steering apparatus calculates a steering-torque assistance command value on the basis of steering torque to be generated at a steering wheel and vehicle speed, calculates current command values for each of the phases from the steering torque assisting command value, and controls a motor for applying steering assistance force to a steering mechanism, on the basis of current control values calculated from the current command values for each of the phases and current values of each of the phases. In this control apparatus for an electric-powered power steering apparatus, filters having a characteristic of making the properties of each of the phases of the motor and the control apparatus cancel each other are arranged at each of the paths, to make the properties of each of the phases of the motor and the control apparatus conform to each other, and to make the properties of each of the phases of the motor and the control apparatus become desired values.
