Abstract:
A control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle, which is provided with an engine, a motor/generator, a clutch, and driving wheels as the drive train thereof, transmits a driving force from the engine to driving wheels via a clutch connected to the motor/generator, and changes the driving load applied to the engine by the driving wheels to a no-load state when the clutch is released, is also provided with a racing control unit that limits, when an accelerator is stepped-on with the engine in a no-load state, the rotational speed of the engine, in cases when a torque-absorption restricting condition is satisfied, wherein torque absorption by the motor/generator using the engine torque as the power generating torque thereof is restricted.
