Abstract:
A control apparatus according to the present invention calculates a rotation speed of an output shaft on the basis of an output signal of a rotation detector that outputs rotation signals for each predetermined angle of the output shaft of an internal combustion engine. The control apparatus obtains waveform data indicating a change of rotation speed with respect to a rotational position of the output shaft by means of a low-pass filter processing with the calculated rotation speed as an input. The control apparatus calculates a rotation acceleration for the rotational position of the output shaft on the basis of the obtained waveform data and estimates a combustion status in a combustion chamber on the basis of the calculated rotation acceleration.
